Army Reserve Private Janet L. Tveit, daughter of Lorne E. and Marlys J. Tveit, has completed basic training at Fort Dix, N.J.

Marissa K. Hanson will attend the University of St. Thomas in fall 1998. The 1998 Falls High School graduate received an $850 recognition scholarship.
