International Falls Police Department
Property damage: Windows at a residence at 713 1/2 Eighth St. and the windows of a vehicle parked outside were reported broken Thursday. Damages were estimated at more than $500.

Koochiching County Sheriff’s Office
Fire: A wildfire on the north side of Highway 65 near Nett Lake was found Monday by the Bois Forte Department of Natural Resources. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Burglary: A burglary was reported at Exact Eye Care Wednesday. The money drawer was found open and a money bag containing cash and checks was taken, according to a police report.
Theft: A third theft at Can-Am Fisheries, 22 22nd St., was reported last week. On Wednesday, 150 boards valued at more than $500 were reported taken.

Koochiching County Sheriff’s Office
Theft: Dominic A. Sprecco, 3514 County Road 130, Ranier, reported Sunday that a vehicle, valued at $7,500, was taken from the residence. The vehicle was later recovered.

Theft: Two thefts were reported at Can-Am Fisheries, 22 22nd St., Tuesday. Cement, valued at $1,500, and construction material, value unknown, was reportedly taken. 

Property damage: James E. Jessop reported Tuesday that renters at 1714 Seventh Ave. had put holes in the walls, causing $800 in damage.

Personal injury collision: Vehicles driven by Craig R. Trott and Amber C. Vohler collided at the intersection of Seventh Avenue West and 10th Street Friday, causing more than $1,000 in damages. Two people were transported to Falls Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries. No further information was known.

Theft: David R. Anderson reported Thursday that a boat motor, valued at $1,000, was taken from 2115 County Road 116.

Theft: Sarah J. Thate, 624 Seventh St., reported Wednesday that two bikes, valued at $500, had been taken from her front yard sometime during the night.
Koochiching County Sheriff’s Office
Fire: A fire on an island west of Fransen Island on Rainy Lake was reported Wednesday afternoon. The fire burned a 50-foot by 50-foot area. It began as a fire that had not been completely extinguished and the wind picked it up. It was extinguished by Camp Kooch with its water boat. The Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources assisted.

Assault: William B. Ehlert, 311 Sixth St., was transported to Falls Memorial Hospital Thursday after being struck by a baseball bat.
Collision: A vehicle driven by Robert D. Claude, 66, Leroy, Mich., backed into a vehicle driven by Michael S. Brennard, 48, 1112 Eighth Ave., Saturday in the parking lot of Super One, 1313 Third St., causing more than $1,000 in damages.

Burglary: An attempted burglary was reported in the training center at Boise, 400 Second Ave. W., Thursday morning. The screen on the front window was open, according to a police department report.
