Burglary: Ervin L. Olestad, 909 Eight St., reported Monday that someone entered his locked garage and took a can of gas, valued at $30.

Attempted burglary: Gail S. Nelson, 1206 Sixth St., reported Monday that someone had attempted to enter her garage. Damage was done to the hasp on the door. Nothing was reported taken.
