Happened by the daily journal online site and surfing through the contents flooded my mind with the memories of growing up in what I consider still to be my home town, although having been gone for many years and living more or less on a permanent basis in Germany (and now Dubai too lol)! Is nice to see that people aree still making the best of what life has to offer in International Falls, and I look forward to once again visiting MN soon (business trip, but will see family as well!)...I just hope the mosquitos are not too bad and that there is some water left in Rainy Lake! I find the constant sun and HOT temps of Dubai a bit much, and long for either the cool breezes of Rainy Lake or alternatively the summer comfort of Hessen, Germany...there are not too many US expats in Dubai, and none from MN that I have found! Most people at least know where MN is though (Vikings!)... I wish all in the Falls a great summer and hope they catch lots of fish! See you all soon...Cheers!
