International Falls Police Department
Dog bite: Sarah E. Lilja, 214 Fourth Ave., reported Monday that a dog bit her on the right calf, breaking the skin, while she was mowing the lawn at 803 Ninth St.
Chief’s report, July 7-20: 271 calls for service; 28 recorded traffic stops; eight arrests; 15 citations issued; one medical/detox/child welfare holds signed; 17 medical responses; two alarm responses; 10 other agency assists.

International Falls Fire Department
Chief’s report, Jan. 1-July 21: Ambulance calls — 404; fire calls, International Falls — 18; rural area — seven, Ranier — one; mutual aid events — four.

Koochiching County Sheriff’s Office
Assault: A 52-year-old man was arrested near the Koochiching-Lake of the Woods county line for second degree assault and terroristic threats. The man was in possession of a pellet gun and waved a pipe at two people looking at a property. He believed the two people were on his property, according to a Sheriff’s Office report. Deputies from Koochiching and Lake of the Woods counties responded.
