Former Fort Frances athlete Duncan Keith, now of the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks, above, signs a Blackhawk jersey for International Falls brothers Josh and Eric Cann. The defenseman returned to the town where he grew up and was honored Monday, as July 21 was coined “Duncan Keith Day.” Events scheduled throughout the day included a ceremony introducing Keith through presentations by members of the local hockey community, followed by autograph opportunities and a barbecue in the Ice for Kids Arena.
