Mrs. Ruth Bush, 607 Seventh St., returned home from Minneapolis Sunday after spending two weeks with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Bush, where she got acquainted with her first grandson, Robert Joseph, who was born June 28.
Miss Margaret Schneider has been named to the dean’s list at the College of St. Benedict, St. Joseph, for the spring term.
Miss Janis Corrin was feted at a crystal shower at a 12:30 p.m. luncheon at Rainy Lake Lodge.
Miss Leslie Sandstrom was honored by a group of close friends at a personal shower held at the home of Miss Nancy Talsness. Hostesses were the Misses Janet Burrock, Marie Millard, Carla Kjellgren and Talsness. Miss Kathy Stish won the door prize.

Mrs. Hugh Miller was honored Thursday evening at a stork shower at the home of Mrs. Harry Schickling, Loman Route.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Lepper, 1018 Ninth St., announce the birth of a son, Neil Ralph, at Falls Memorial Hospital. The baby has a sister, Elizabeth Ann, who will be 2 years old in August.
Mrs. Magnus Carlson of South International Falls was honored at a stork shower Monday evening. Thirty-six relatives and friends attended.
Fred Coxon, veteran Mando employee who moved to Libby, Mont., is back in the Falls to visit old-time friends. He said he plans to return to Montana in a few weeks to dispose of his property and then will come to make his home here. He is a guest at the John Nagle home in Papermakers Colony.
