Notice to Contractors - Sealed proposals will be received by the Koochiching County Board of Commissioners until 2:00 P.M. on September 15, 2008 at the office of the County Auditor in the Courthouse in International Falls, Minnesota at which time they will be opened and read publicly for the following.
SAP 36-643-06 (CSAH 43) From 4th Street to TH 217. Grading, Agg. Base, Bit, Surf., Cone. Curb & Gutter, and Storm Sewer. Length - 0.127 miles. The major quantities of work are: 3,137 C.Y. of Com. Exc. (P); 2,928 S.Y. of Geotextile Fabric Type V; 2,050 Tons of Agg. Base, Cl 5 Mod.; 2,50 Tons of Type LV3 Wear Course Mixture C; 1,300 L.F. of 4” perforated (P.E.) Pipe Drain; 1,182 L.F. of R.C. Pipe Sewer, Cl III; 1,340 L.F. of Cone. Curb & Gutter, Design B624; 777 S.Y. of Sodding. Type Lawn.

Extra proposal $10.00*
*Sales tax is included in price.
This project will be allowed to be “tied” to City of Littlefork project 2007. 317. Plans for this project may be obtained by contacting RLK, PO Box 656, Hibbing, Minnesota 55746.
Plans, proposals, and specifications may be examined an obtained at the office of the County Engineer, 715 4th Street, International Falls, MN 56649.
Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder’s bond made payable to the Treasurer of Koochiching County in an amount not less than 5% of the total bid.
Bid shall by plainly marked on the exterior of the containing envelope, “CSAH 43, Letting Date - September 15, 2008”.
The County Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the contract to the best interests of the County.
