Safe Routes to School meeting scheduled

A Safe Routes to School workshop is being offered to all members of the community. The Falls school district encourages students, teachers, parents and community members to attend the workshop slated for 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Falls Elementary School Library. Ideas and input from the public is encouraged as Safe Routes to School Programs will be described, their importance for children and the community, a kick-off event for fall is planned, and work begins with the city toward improving walking and biking throughout International Falls.
