Local student graduates
Stephen Briggs received a full-ride academic scholarship for the College of St. Scholastica to pursue a career in education.
He plans to triple major in social science, Ojibwe language and culture and secondary education. He recently graduated from Fond du Lac Tribal Community College with a associate of science degree in law enforcement and an associate of arts degree. He is the son of Stephen and Dianne Briggs of International Falls.

Student receives scholarship
William Geving, of International Falls, received a Tom Hill Memorial Scholarship of $500 from Lake Superior College.
Geving is a student in the associate in arts program at the college.

Class schedules
Class schedules can be picked up at Falls High School office beginning Aug. 25 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.
