Brent Allen Holm, 36, of Bemidji, Minn., formerly of International Falls, Minn., died as a result of an automobile accident Saturday, July 19, 2008, near Becida, Minn.
Memorial services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 24, at Evangelical Covenant Church, International Falls, with Pastor Don Clark officiating.
He was born Feb. 9, 1972, in International Falls, Minn., the son of Mark and Nancy (Forsythe) Holm.
He was raised and attended schools in International Falls and graduated from Falls High School in 1990. He then attended Rainy River Community College for a year and then two years at Wadena Technical College, graduating with an electrician degree.
He moved to Bemidji in 1996 and had worked for the Edgewater Motel, Dondelinger Chevrolet, Tire Plus and for the past four years as a service manager at Bob Lowth Ford of Bemidji.
He loved race cars, mud trucks, and was a Dale Earnhardt fan. He was an avid bowler, played darts and volleyball. He enjoyed spending time at the farm with his family.
He is survived by his parents of International Falls, Minn.; a son, Alex Logan of Bagley, Minn.; a daughter, Marissa Logan-Holm of Bagley, Minn.; sisters, Melissa Holm, Tammy Holm and Becky Holm, all of International Falls, Minn.; his grandmother, Dorothy Holm of International Falls, Minn.; a niece, Olivia Holm of International Falls, Minn.; a nephew, Camden Templeton of International Falls, Minn.; his special friend, Shelly and her three boys, Brendon, Garrison and Trenton, all of Solway, Minn.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Gustav Holm; maternal grandparents, Harold and Bea Forsythe and Carl and Bernice Taggatz; a cousin, Wade Holm; and an uncle, Roger Forsythe.
