The board is also expected to approve a recommendation to grant a conditional use permit for a 9-acre gravel pit and mining operation on County Road 104 during Environmental Services Department business at 1:35 p.m. KGM Contractors Inc. is applying for the permit and the property is owned by Gary Wheelock.
Conditions for the permit include repairing all damages to county-maintained roads, specific hours of operation, the company meeting with parents of children living in the area and the permit is expected to be reviewed in four years.
