Ranier to consider water rates

The Ranier City Council plans to consider minimum water rates for seasonal water customers when it meets Monday.
The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in the Ranier Community Buiding.
The Water Committee is expected to request the city maintain its current ordinance regarding the minimum rates.
The council is also scheduled to review the 2007 financial report, completed by the firm of Miller McDonald.
The Buildings, Streets and Grounds Committee is expected to request floor maintenance in the Community Building. The committee is also expected to request that the city maintenance employee be placed on a winter on-call status.
The Municipal Liquor Store staff is expected to present its August operating statement and request a software register system.
The council is also expected to approve its monthly bill payments.
