Stories in the Park
Stories in the Park on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in Smokey Bear Park will be in the library basement meeting room if the weather is wet. Plan on attending whether or not the weather allows participants to be outside. The storytime theme for the summer continues through Aug. 13.

Spaghetti dinner fund raiser
A Girl Scouts spaghetti dinner fund raiser for a trip to England is planned for 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Roadhouse, Hwy. 11 E. Free will offering will be accepted.

‘Serenity Sisters’
The Women’s A.A. gathering, “Serenity Sisters,” will meet at noon Friday at the Backus building, Rational Alternatives Room 101.

Elks supper
The Elks Lodge Friday Light Meal will be Ranger burgers and baked beans. Serving begins at 5:30 p.m.

Pancake feed
The public is welcome to a pancake feed planned for 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Alano Club, 410 Fifth Ave.

Fifty-Five Plus
Evangelical Covenant Church Fifty-Five Plus will meet at 6 p.m. Monday. Grilled burgers, buns and condiments will be provided. Those attending are asked to bring beans, salads and desserts. A Sing-A-Long with Ted Francis will follow. Everyone is welcome.

First Lutheran
Christmas in July
First Lutheran Church Women are holding their 35th annual Christmas in July Bazaar & Luncheon on Tuesday, July 22nd. The bazaar runs from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The luncheon is from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The theme this year is "Stewards of the Earth". The bazaar features local produce, jams and jellies, crafts, and baked goods. There will also be a drawing for a handmade quilt donated by Gladys Indahl and Margaret Magnuson.

Crazy Daze
Join the fun on Wednesday, July 30 beginning at 7:00 AM. Businesses have gone just a little Crazy with their specials. The Chamber of Commerce will have fun activities throughout town for the Kids. Moose Club Suppers
The Moose Club is scheduled to meet at 5:30 p.m. Thursday for tacos at 5:30 p.m.; Friday for burger night at 6 p.m.; Saturday at 6 p.m., the scheduled “Christmas in July” will feature turkey off the grill. Reserve at 283-3615; Tuesday supper at 6 p.m. will be hot pork sandwiches.
