Moose picnic
The Moose Lodge Potluck Picnic is planned for noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at Smokey Bear Park. Meat and beverage will be provided.

Community Market
Backus Community Market continues Saturday, rain or shine, from 8 to 11 a.m. in the AB Third Street parking lot. Fresh produce, baked goods, handmade and specialty products by local artisans and vendors are featured. Backus will provide coffee and bars. The public is encouraged to attend. Interested vendors may contact the Backus office at 285-7225.

Moose events
Texas Hold ‘Em will be played at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Moose Lodge. A spaghetti supper will be served at 6 Tuesday.
