Horse show
Rainy River Riders Saddle Club will conduct a WSCA horse show beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday at the arena on Highway 332. The public is welcome to attend. For information, contact Shana at 763-567-9169.
Back to School dance
The Bronco boys baseball team will host a Back to School Dance from 8 p.m. to midnight Thursday at the Bob Walls Memorial Union Hall. Students in grades 9 through 12 are welcome. Admission is $5. Pizza and pop will be available.
Red Hat Loonaticks
The Red Hat Loonaticks will gather at 11:30 a.m. Monday to enjoy sundaes at the Dairy Queen.

Gospel Crusade speakers
Gerald Derstine and his wife Beulah will be guest speakers Sunday at the 10:45 a.m. and 7 p.m. services at the Full Gospel Fellowship Church, 1530 Sixth Ave. W. Pastor Derstine is the head of Gospel Crusade and founder of four Christian Retreat Centers. The public is welcome to attend.
Hazardous waste
collection
Koochiching County will conduct the last hazardous waste collection day of the year from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Recycling/Transfer Facility. Households will be able to safely dispose hazardous products at no charge, while paint and other usable products will be given away free. Businesses must pre-register prior to collection day. Bronco baseball booth
The Bronco boys baseball team will have a booth downtown during the International Falls Bass Championship. Tacos-in-a-bag and a beverage will be available. The public is encouraged to stop by Smokey Bear Park through Saturday.
Barrel racing
Dancing Sky Ranch will a host a barrel racing event at 3 p.m. Sunday. Pony rides will be given and free lunch served. Participants may bring something for potluck. The public is welcome. Contact Shana at 763-567-9169 for more information.
Back-to-School bash
Independent School District 361 Community Education will sponsor a Back-to-School Elementary School Splash Bash from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Falls High School Pool. Preschool age to grade 6 are welcome. The $3 fee will be collected at the door. No pre-registration is required.
