Conservation
committee
The Koochiching County Consolidation Conservation Committee will conduct its annual meeting at 7 p.m. Sept. 4 at the Williams Township Hall near Clementson. All are welcome to attend.
Tailgate party
Bronco Football Boosters will host a tailgate party from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday at Bronco Stadium. Chef Elroy will serve a burger basket and drink for $5 or a hot dog and drink for $3. The Broncos face Fort Frances in the first game of the season. Kids can sign up for a chance to win an autographed Bronco football by pitching the pigskin at half time.
Brown Bag Lunch
The public is welcome to the Chamber of Commerce Brown Bag Lunch set for noon Thursday at the Holiday Inn. Dr. Sue Collins, President of the Northeast Minnesota Higher Education District will share her vision. The community is encouraged to take this opportunity to show support of Rainy River Community College by attending this networking event. Call 283-9400 to confirm attendance.
