I agree with Rod. I might add two more ideas for the meal...The amphitheater is the main course and not the gravy, its the VNP building thats the gravy. Also, the DJ needs to stay out of the business of criticizing our city council and its agenda and go back to collecting information for its printing machines or the business community may find a reason for the folks from out of town that are running the paper to lack anything to print. Remember its not a minor player like Boise Paper that runs this town, after all they have barely 600 workers and this town is comprised of a few more then that. Good job city officials and
Thumbs down to the DJ for its unwarrented criticism not only for the word on the Amphitheater but also for its criticism on the Burner Road issue that we don't want either.

To the editor,
I admit I am not much of a cook, but I do know you have to plan a meal before you can cook it or eat it. Thumbs down to the editor of The Daily Journal who criticizes the city of International Falls for seeking planning assistance with the Irvin N. Anderson Amphitheatre as part of the larger riverfront development. Under an Aug. 6 headline “First Work on Foundation” our beloved editor gives us the following culinary analogy “the gravy is being ladled before the meat and potatoes are even cooked.”
