I have a question out there? Who is paying for Don Langan's trip to England for his "educational" training? If from the school district, how much?

I was wondering if anyone knew who owns the apartments on main street? How do you contact the owners...what about rental housing in I. Falls? Any contact info would be appreciated. Thanks

We have all watched the price of gas continue to climb and cause many changes in our way of life. We have all grumbled and complained. I personally don't like it and am watching how much I drive. This is the way it is for now and we have to live with it.

What I don't like is how the local gas stations deal with it. I don't have a problem with a station raising their price if their tanker load comes in higher; but I don't understand why when one station raises, they all do.

Hello I Falls,
This is D.J. Thomas saying hello to the people of I Falls. I hope that I will have the opportunity this fall to become the assistant mens basketball coach at RRCC. Since graduating from RRCC I have grown significantly as a person. I will love to chance to get reaquanted with the International Falls way of life. As I stated in one of my other blogs, I can never forget to hospitality and overall friendliness of I Falls.

Happened by the daily journal online site and surfing through the contents flooded my mind with the memories of growing up in what I consider still to be my home town, although having been gone for many years and living more or less on a permanent basis in Germany (and now Dubai too lol)!

Is nice to see that people aree still making the best of what life has to offer in International Falls, and I look forward to once again visiting MN soon (business trip, but will see family as well!)...I just hope the mosquitos are not too bad and that there is some water left in Rainy Lake!

Did anyone get pictures of Butch's toys in the parade? If you would not mind sharing them please let me know.

I got back home yesterday (SW Michigan) from a week on Lake Kabetogoma...I have to say I'm ready to move north. But the problem is I've never liked winter. We get a "decent" winter here in MI and I fight it every year. This year I'm determined to embrace winter so that if the opportunity arises I can move to N. MN without worrying about winter.

I've always been fascinated by people that love winter, so maybe I'll try to be one!

Thank you Laurel Beager for your interesting and informational Article on the book, "Plaintiff Blues" I am so glad International Falls schools Superintendent is being brought forth. I read a blog this morning "A leopard.... and can not find it again. The Indian Education program is not the only program targeted, so is the Community Education. Why are the programs that help our children being destroyed? Both programs help our children in more ways than one. Once again thank you Laurel for the article.
